Dr. Gary Wayne graduated from Newark Academy in Livingston, NJ, in 1981. He went on to earn a degree in anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis before returning to New Jersey to attend Fairleigh S. Dickinson College of Dental Medicine. During dental school, Dr. Wayne distinguished himself with several honors, including the senior clinical fellowship in prosthodontics, placement on the dean's list, and induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society.
In 1990, Dr. Wayne completed a general dental residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He then pursued advanced surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Lincoln Hospital and Mental Health Center in the Bronx, NY, where he served as chief resident in 1994. Dr. Wayne began practicing in Boca Raton in 1995 and is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Wayne provides comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgery services, including dental extractions, wisdom tooth removal, oral pathology, treatment of facial and jaw trauma, single and multiple dental implant procedures, and bone and gum grafting. All treatments are offered with various anesthesia options, based on each patient's needs and comfort level. Dr. Wayne is fully licensed by the State of Florida to administer general anesthesia. He has been a resident of the Boca Raton area since 1994, where he lives with his wife, Ellen, and their three children.
Dr. Wayne and his team were so helpful throughout the entire process. I needed all four impacted wisdom teeth removed, and after a negative experience at a different office, Dr. Wayne and his team were extremely accommodating in getting me the care I needed quickly. My partner also had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Wayne a few years ago and had a very smooth experience as well. They helped me navigate all of my options, were completely transparent about the cost, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I truly appreciated their professionalism and support. 10 days post-surgery and healing perfectly!

Dr. Wayne and staff were exceptional. I was made to feel very comfortable. Dr. Wayne explained how my procedure was going to be done and allowed time for my questions. On a 1-10 I would say my experience was a 15!!!
